Welcome to the Tri-County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #3
Established in 1976, the Fraternal Order of Police Tri-County Lodge #3 proudly operates from its meeting hall in Hanahan, South Carolina. Boasting a membership exceeding 700, our lodge is a formidable force comprising Local, State, and National Law Enforcement Officers from Charleston County.
Dedicated to serving the Law Enforcement Officers in Charleston County, our mission extends beyond the badge to forge strong connections within the community and nurture the next generation. The lodge showcases its commitment by annually recognizing the exceptional efforts of officers through our awards program and hosting the Law Enforcement Memorial, which honors the memory of fallen Law Enforcement Officers. Additionally, we offer crucial financial assistance to the families of officers who have tragically lost their lives or faced critical injuries in the line of duty. Tri-County Lodge #3 actively engages in legislative advocacy to enhance the working conditions of Law Enforcement Officers. Through these efforts, we aspire to create safer communities and a more secure future for both officers and the residents they serve.
About the FOP
The National Fraternal Order of Police is the world’s largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers, with more than 373,000 members in more than 2,200 lodges. We are the voice of those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving our communities. We are committed to improving the working conditions of law enforcement officers and the safety of those we serve through education, legislation, information, community involvement, and employee representation. No one knows the dangers and the difficulties faced by today’s police officers better than other officers, and no one knows police officers better than the FOP.
