To benefit the South Carolina Special Olympics, Carrabba’s Italian Grill and the Fraternal Order of Police Tri-County Lodge #3 annually hosts a Cops & Pasta Tip-A-Cop event at the restaurant on 2150 Northwoods Blvd in North Charleston.
Law enforcement officers will be seating and serving Carrabba’s guests in exchange for tips that will go directly to support the Law Enforcement Torch Run and the 21,400 Special Olympics athletes in South Carolina. Officers from Charleston law enforcement agencies including the Fraternal Order of Police Tri-County Lodge 3 will be participating in the event.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Torch RunĀ® for Special Olympics unites officers from law enforcement agencies and corrections departments across the state in an effort to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics South Carolina.
Special Olympics is a year-round training and competition sports organization for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Currently, there are more than 21,400 athletes in South Carolina who train and compete in a choice of 23 different Olympics-type sports.
