Cops & Calabash Event
supporting the Special Olympics
Fraternal Order of Police Tri-County Lodge #3

 

To benefit the South Carolina Special Olympics, FATZ®, home of the World Famous Calabash Chicken® and the Fraternal Order of Police Tri-County Lodge #3, annually hosts a Cops & Calabash Tip-A-Cop event at the restaurant on 4951 Centre Point Drive in North Charleston.
Fatz CafeLaw enforcement officers will be seating and serving FATZ® guests in exchange for tips that will go directly to support the Law Enforcement Torch Run and the 21,400 Special Olympics athletes in South Carolina. Officers from Charleston law enforcement agencies including the Fraternal Order of Police Tri-County Lodge 3 will be participating in the event.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Torch Run® for Special Olympics unites officers from law enforcement agencies and corrections departments across the state in an effort to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics South Carolina.

Special Olympics is a year-round training and competition sports organization for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Currently, there are more than 21,400 athletes in South Carolina who train and compete in a choice of 23 different Olympics-type sports.
