On Monday evening, our lodge met for the December regular monthly business FOP meeting.
With over 50 people in attendance, the meeting began with our complimentary meal provided by our renowned Meals Committee. During dinner, the members networked with contacts and reacquainted with old friends.
At the conclusion of dinner, the business of the lodge began.
Our membership grew with the acceptance of 5 new applications from various local, state and federal agencies.
President John Blackmon: Handled server migration for Web Site, spoke with media outlets, maintained Social Media, posted News Articles (Law Enforcement Liability Reporter – November 2017, Police Personnel Reporter – November 2017, Executive Board Elections 2017 , Today in History – Pennsylvania v. Mimms, Christmas Party Tonight!), represented the FOP at the 9/11 Heroes Run, attended the Eboard Meeting, gave away new writing pens to the first 50 members through the door at the meeting.
Vice President Eddie Draper: worked on committee assignments, attended the board meeting.
Treasurer Scott Rywelski: processed income and expenses, attended the board meeting, replaced hard drive on lodge computer
Secretary Aaron Reed: mailed member cards, processed new applications, attended the board meeting, mailed get well/sympathy cards
Second Vice President Beth Auer: worked on committee assignments, attended the board meeting, negotiated with Happy Cans for the cleaning of the lodge trash cans.
Sergeant at Arms Ed Semlitsch: worked on committee assignments, attended the board meeting
Past President Dan Isgett: worked on committee assignments
