A GoFundMe page has been set up for people to donate to a fund that will support Hodges’ wife Krystal and their young children. McBride said officials have also set up the Devin Hodges Memorial Fund at Park Sterling Bank, which has offices in Anderson and branches throughout the Upstate.
Hodges’ family will receive friends Monday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Civic Center of Anderson, 3027 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
His funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Civic Center.
Burial will follow at Oakbrook Memorial Park, 3007 U.S. Highway 25 North in the Greenwood County community of Hodges.
Hodges’ patrol vehicle is on the lawn at the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office. The public is welcome to come by and leave memorials or pay respects.
